Compliance & Standards Coordinator



** Three days per week ** £41600 pro rata ** Award Winning Organisation **

 



As a Compliance Officer, you will:


  • Take full ownership of all compliance, audits, certifications, supporting RFP’s and Tenders, GDPR/Data Protection and daily administration of the company QMS.


  • Regularly review the company processes alongside each department representative to ensure the documentation is kept up to date.


 



The ideal Candidate will be:


  • Previous compliance experience


  • Well organised, focused and calm


  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and cope within a pressured environment


  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with clients and staff at a professional level


  • A personal drive and ambition to succeed in the face of adversity, to focus on goals and an approach that fosters continuous improvement of the individual and the team


  • Good written and spoken communication skills, able to produce instructions and procedure documents, able to communicate clearly over the telephone or face-to-face and maintain


 



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assisting and supporting departments and staff on compliance or data related matters.


  • Maintenance of compliance related documentation folders and data sheets.


  • Supporting departments by collecting and coordinating process documentation updates for uniformity in structure


  • Supporting in development, implementation, and maintenance of the internal audit policies.


  • Coordinate with the line Manager on compliance projects, ad-hoc requests and documentation.


  • QMS System access administration.


  • Administration of support tasks to Compliance Group.


  • Coordinate with the line manager in compliance breaches and exposures management provisions.


  • To review and respond to GDPR / Data Protection documents and customer questionnaires.


  • To review and support the sales team with Information Security / Compliance / GDPR / Data Protection questionnaires.


  • To review and respond to Data protection agreements, contracts, tenders, and other supplier forms.


  • To work closely with Head of IT for Cyber security breaches, audits and certifications – Cyber Security Essentials, Cyber Security Essentials plus, ISO 27001.


  • To be a team player, and one who believes in ‘Hands-On approach’.


  • Any other tasks associated that are reasonably required by the line manager.


 



Certifications & Registrations:


  • ISO 0991:2015 (Quality Management System – QMS) – SMT/all departments


  • BS EN 50518:2019 (Monitoring and Alarm Receiving Centres) – ARC/IT


  • BS 8484:2016 (Provision of Lone Worker Services) – ARC/Product


  • ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management System – ISMS) – IT


  • Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus – IT


  • ICO Data Protection Registration and GDPR Review – IT


  • Secured by Design – Ops/ARC


  • NHS DSP Toolkit – IT


  • NHS Supply Chain (NHS Framework Agreement) – Sales & Marketing


  • G-Cloud (UK Government Digital Marketplace Framework – SaaS) – Sales & Marketing


 



Qualifications:


  • Excellent documentation skills with good knowledge of MS Office products, SharePoint, Quality management systems.


  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with staff and external parties at a professional level.


  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.


  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.


  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Experience and/or knowledge of BS, EN, ISO Standards. (ISO27001, ISO9001 etc.)
