Description


Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working for a growing organisation based on the outskirts of Horley. There is currently a requirement for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.



This role will suit a graduate with a years’ experience within an office-based environment looking to start their career within a finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to kickstart their career within Finance as full training will be provided.

The role:



The ideal candidate will be assisting the accounts team with any tasks that is required such as bank reconciliations, purchase and sales ledger , credit control and accounts administration.



The ideal candidate will:




  • Be studying towards AAT, CIMA or ACCA or have completed any higher education


  • Have GCSEs, or equivalent in Maths and English at B Grade or above


  • Proven experience of using Microsoft excel at an intermediate to advanced level


  • Strong communication skills


  • Proactive team player able to prioritise and work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment


  • Happy to take responsibility and get things done


  • Willingness to learn


  • Desire to start a career within Accounts/ Finance


  • Highly self-motivated with a collaborative and positive ‘can do’ attitude


  • Be able to demonstrate, understand and apply workplace values


  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail


  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, either internal or external facing as required


  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills with the ability to talk ‘off-script’


  • Ability to work easily under pressure and meet multiple deadlines


  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude


  • Able to work in a fast-paced role





Salary: £18,000 to £23,000.00
