Reconciliation Analyst (Maternity Cover - 10/12 months)



** To £22,000 ** OFFICE BASED IN BRIGHTON ** PENSION ** LIFE ASSURANCE ** PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE ** 25 DAYS HOLIDAY (Pro-rata) ** 10/12 MONTH CONTRACT (TBC) **



An exciting opportunity to work for a well established, highly professional, FTSE250 financial services organisation that seek a Reconciliation Analyst to complete 40 - 60 reconciliations per month calculating and applying the retentions, whilst completing a risk assessment for each client and adhering to SLAs.



The daily tasks will involve the use of Excel, and their core systems to calculate and apply the controls. The role will involve the communication of account retention updates to clients and client service teams using their policy as a backbone to all your activities.





  • All appropriate month end retentions to be inputted accurately as reconciliations received and worked on


  • To ensure our SLA met every day working on own portfolio and as part of team assisting in completion of others reconciliations


  • Perform accurate reconciliations across our portfolio of clients


  • Ensure that client sales ledgers are reconciled and completed within Service Level Agreements


  • Inform any significant reconciliation differences, adverse credit ratings or anything unusual to the client manager and line manager


  • Ensure a risk-based focus is applied to the client reconciliation.




Skills & Experience Required:



Previous accounts / reconciliation experience would be an advantage.

Applicants must be highly IT literate, with an intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel.
