Description
Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client, a highly professional, well established, award winning firm of Chartered Independent Financial Advisers that seek a Diploma qualified Senior Paraplanner to join their expanding team.



The client has grown steadily since its conception over 20 years ago and provides high quality financial planning advice and investment management services to their HNW/UHNW clients. They offer a very friendly, professional and modern working environment, and provide continued support and encouragement with professional studies and personal development.



Whilst currently working from home due to current Government rules, it is expected that flexible working (2/3 days office based) will be available on an ongoing basis.



Main responsibilities:



  • Proactively manage the completion of reports.


  • Draft more complicated Advice letters - Asset Allocation, Fund Choice, Pension Transfers VCTs, EIS etc.


  • Keep all reports concise and client focused and consistently delivered to timescales agreed with the Adviser.


  • Able to discuss options and alternatives for client recommendations by sharing expertise and/or client knowledge with Advisers.


  • Sign off/take responsibility for in-house documents with technical content. (email alerts etc.)


  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of a variety of complex, technical issues and be prepared to train team members/junior staff.


  • Take responsibility for updating Paraplanner Procedure Notes and communicating any changes.


  • Be constantly conscious of commercial implications of work and able to balance client and company interests, while understanding the compliance implications and restrictions involved.


  • Expected to keep abreast of all legislative changes and share the information with peers.




The candidate:



  • Previous paraplanning and/or advisory experience is an essential requirement, qualified to Diploma level as a minimum, with ideally some progression towards the Advanced Diploma.


  • Technical knowledge should include Asset Allocation, Fund Choice, Pension Transfers VCTs, EIS etc.


  • Experience with Adviser Office preferred.
