- Lloyd Recruitment Services are seeking a Temporary Electoral Assistant to assist a local council department with peak workload during March and May.
Contract start date: 04th March 2021
Contract finish date: 14th May 2021
Cut off point for CV submissions is: 22nid February 2021
Interviews are being held on Friday 26 February 2021
You’ll be responsible for supporting the existing team, processing a high volume of registration forms and uploading information – they have confirmed that this will be fairly routine, but it’s essential to remain and keep a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
There will be the opportunity to experience and learn elements about the democratic process and get involved with aspects of preparing for an election.
The successful candidate will also be expected to deal with enquiries from the public by email and telephone, and happy working within a small, busy team environment.
Experience gained within a professional customer services environment is preferred, combined with competent IT skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Please note: Due to the pandemic working from home is permitted, but there will be times that it will be necessary to work in the office, so please ensure you are happy with this arrangement before applying
