- Lloyd Recruitment Services are partnering with an International company, based in Sandwich, who are on the lookout for a new Packaging and Labelling Technician to join their busy team.
The role is being offered on a temporary 12-month basis, and you’ll need to have your own vehicle to commute to the offices on a daily basis.
The ideal match would be previous experience within a pharmaceutical environment, and have proven examples of handling and dispensing dosage forms (chemist or hospital pharmacy). However, consideration could be given to someone from another regulated environment; food, legal, etc..
In a nutshell, you’ll be packaging clinical trial supplies - matching up required batch details, diagrams and forms with labels and assembling them into relevant packs for onward transfer. It’ll require both physical tasks for the packaging, as well as administrative for the labelling. You’ll be working alongside guidelines set out by the industry (GMP and SOP) so the ability to follow instruction is a must. Accuracy is an absolute must, as you’ll be setting up and printing off of labels from dosage forms Working within very strict time scales to meet deadlines, and ensuring that any issues that may delay are reported immediately to senior colleagues. Liaising on a regular basis with colleagues and other business areas, especially if documents are to be shipped to other locations for dispatch.

Work placement / experience of working in a chemist / hospital / dispensary environment
Exceptional eye for detail and minimal error record
First class communication skills
Strong IT skills, and competent in the use of email and MS Office applications, as well as ability to pick up new databases / working systems quickly
Ability to work on own and be self-motivated and organised
Confident taking ownership of tasks and see through to finish.
Punctual and diligent both personally and professionally to meet deadlines and stay on top of workload.
