- Lloyd Recruitment Services has a fantastic job opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join a leading manufacture company in Edenbridge area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to succeed and progress in a fast-paced & challenging sales environment. The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business selling to the UK industrial market sector. You will find and qualify new leads and transform these into sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate should have good B2B sales experience (office or field based), attention to detail, have an excellent telephone manner and be very comfortable with cold calling and face to face client interaction.
Salary between £35K-£40K DOE plus private health cover
Required skills:
Minimum of 4 year’s field sales experience within manufacturing/ engineering
Comfortable selling products via digital platforms instead of face to face meetings when required
Have prior field sales experience and happy with face to face sales presentations
Capability to learn technical sales terms
Analytical and strategic thinker with strong presentational communication skills
Exposure to customers and projects with some P & L responsibility
Full UK driving license
Background experience within electrical/ manufacturing
Excellent written & oral communication skills
Building and maintaining business relationships
Self-motivated and target driven
Comfortable cold calling
Building an active client network via social platforms
This position would suit a candidate with the following skill sets:

Industrial market knowledge
Technical sales experience
Please note: This role requires 2-3 days on the road attending client meetings. Due to current Covid- 19 restrictions, you will also have to be able to use other channels to interact with your client base when required.
Monday to Friday 08.30am – 17:00pm
