- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable company who are currently in search of a Senior LCA Consultant (Built Environment)
We are looking for a seniorlifecycle assessment (LCA) consultant with experience delivering whole life carbon assessments for the built environment and corporate carbon reporting to join a growing team.
You will be responsible for delivering lifecycle assessments of buildings and our new development certification along with working with SMEs and large corporates, delivering carbon footprint analyses, verifications, SECR submissions, scope 3 carbon analysis and much more.
The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, have a high attention to detail and a passion for numbers and sustainability and excellent customer relationship skills.
Responsibilities:
Deliver built environment LCAs for industrial, residential and other building types
Liaise with multiple stakeholders in the built environment sector to deliver New Development Certification
Manage the delivery of New Development Certification internally and externally
Project and team management
Conduct carbon footprint assessments and reporting using sustainability management software for our wide range of clients
Conduct verifications of GHG assessments and non-financial reporting
Project management and delivery of sustainability consulting including scope 3 carbon analysis, SECR, sustainability engagement, research and policy
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Positive, “can-do” attitude
Experience in delivering whole life carbon assessments for buildings, with working knowledge of standards EN 15878, WRI GHG Protocol, PAS 2050, PAS 2080, amongst others
Experience in sustainability in the built environment, including knowledge of UKGBCs net zero carbon framework
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate sustainability and environmental management
Experienced account manager, used to delivering presentations and workshops to customers
Experience in carbon footprint accounting and knowledge of greenhouse gas reporting and standards e.g. GHG Protocol, ISO 14064
Experience in audit/verifications of corporate carbon footprints using ISO 14064-3
Experience in preparing and winning proposals and projects for bespoke sustainability consulting
Comfortable calling and meeting with a range of clients and customers to discuss carbon footprinting and sustainability consulting
Strong mathematical and analytical background
Excellent project management skills
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and excellent IT skills
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
A team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills & Experience
Working knowledge of the RICS NZC Construction minimum reporting template
Experience in delivery of post occupancy evaluations (POE) in the property or industrial sector
Knowledge of SECR, experience in scope 3 screening, development and delivery of sustainability strategies for businesses
Experience working with large, multinational companies, either in house or as consultancy
Experience in sustainability engagement and communications
Experience with sustainability software e.g. Sofi Salesforce
Industry qualification (e.g. IEMA)
Salary of up to £50K DOE
