Description:
We are looking for a Digital Content Marketing Executive to support the Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and working alongside the Marketing Executive in delivering the marketing strategy and plan
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain a comprehensive content plan in line with business goals and marketing strategy, across all our channels (incl. Blogs, case studies, newsletters, videos, social media, digital campaigns, podcasts, events and webinars)
Source and co-ordinate suitable external content providers. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing external content partners, in line with the content plan
Research, recommend and develop the re-use of marketing collateral across multiple media
Review material and identify core facts/content for use across multiple outputs
Identify opportunities for new initiatives, campaigns, propositions or messaging and make recommendations for approval
Research, shape and plan campaigns for testing new propositions
Write Award submissions
Structure storyboards and scripts for videos
Support Management Team in exposure as thought leaders
Support Head of Marketing with product roadmap for content marketing
Support external PR Agency with content for opportunities with media
Skills and Knowledge – Essential
A great B2B content writer – able to produce appealing and engaging content for the reader/viewer/listener, which is grammatically correct and of a very high standard
Outstanding ability to take great copy and convert for using across a variety of digital platforms
Understanding of SEO and content marketing
Knowledge of marketing, communications, digital and social channels
Proficient use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus have the ability to quickly learn / adopt new technology
Well organised and able to shape plans from brief outlines
Able to quickly understand the products and services of the business and be willing to learn more about our market
Ability to understand the bigger picture and support meaningful plans which align with the wider goals
Skills and Knowledge – Desirable
Strong analytical skills
Able to manage multiple priorities and demands, in a fast-paced environment with a hugely variable timetable
Great relationship builder, influencer and collaborator
Competency in the use of WordPress is an advantage
Competency in Adobe Creative Cloud (in particular InDesign and PhotoShop) is an advantage
Understanding of B2B2C and how to engage with an individual to encourage action
Experience
Minimum One years-experience in a marketing role
It is desirable that you come from an editorial or copywriting background in the form of either PR, internal communications or journalism
Experience in digital content writing is essential
Attributes
Comfortable and confident in planning from concept/ideas through to delivery
Self-starting, enthusiastic and motivated, as they work remotely
An ‘ideas’ person, pro-actively suggesting and preparing new marketing content
Willing to learn new tools and techniques
Commercially focussed
Ability and capacity to grow in the role as the business evolves
NB|: This is a full-time position (4 days considered), working remotely with weekly team meetings in central London expected to resume in early 2021.
