Lloyd Recruitment Services Ltd is delighted to be working with this well established manufacturing company who are specialists in their field. They are looking for a Workshop / Warehouse person to join their team with full training provided. Salary will increase after probation.
The Workshop / Warehouse role:
They have a small workshop, assembling cables and hoses. Once made, the items are checked packed and either put into stock or picked to be sent to a customer. The workshop personnel work as a team to achieve the required tasks. It is important that the team is flexible to cover for holidays and peaks of work in certain areas.
They currently need a new member to join the team who will be fully trained to work in all areas of the workshop to carry out the following duties
Receive the factory orders
Prioritise workloads to achieve deadlines
Follow the manufacturing instruction sheet for each product, cutting fitting and testing products
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Essential requirements:
Hard working - Someone who wants to get through the work at a good pace
Physically fit - The work is not heavy or dirty but can be ‘fiddly’
Good eyesight and able to work accurately
Able to work under pressure
Good communication skills and able to follow instructions
Hours 8am – 5pm after training 2pm – 10pm
