- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading company based in Edenbridge who are currently in search of a QA Manager to join their team.
Role overview:
Support the business in the delivery of effective quality, safety, and environmental programs which ensure customer satisfaction
Providing support and advice to the management team and staff on quality, occupational safety, health safety, and environmental matters
The Candidate:
Experience working in a quality management and safety role within manufacturing
Quality Control & Health & Safety qualifications are a strong advantage
A successful track record of working with the HSE, auditors and professional bodies
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
Risk management experience
Outstanding communication skills and ability to build relationships
Good IT skills
Will have good knowledge of CNC machines
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery and management of effective quality, safety, and environmental programs
Manage and maintain production quality across the business to ensure the best practice and customer satisfaction
Action/respond to Non-conformance report requirements
Generate KPIs for the production area regarding quality
Identify initiatives to improve performance
Identify risks and develop measures to reduce and control
Overall responsibility for all incidents and accident investigations
Promote positive adoption of safety best practice
Manager near miss reporting
Alert management to any significant accidents and incidents
Assist with ISO Audits
Ensure standard operating procedures are up to date
Facilitate and promote all areas of health and safety and quality
Maintain safe & clean work environment for all
Communicate changes to the team
Management of Health & Safety documents
Salary: £25K - £35K DOE
