- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants who have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to join their highly professional, dynamic and welcoming team.
This is an excellent new opening offering you the chance to progress your career with a firm that will offer a full study package and on the job support and training. Maybe you will be already studying AAT or have just started ACA/ACCA training.
You will be a professional, articulate, self-motivated individual with 6 - 18 months Accounts preparation experience within a practice.
Depending on qualifications and experience a full job description will be tailored to your skills and experience and discussed at interview stage but main work will include;
Assist with the preparation and completion of accounts/audits at client’s premises or at our offices for accounts senior or managerial review
Amendment and updating of file following director or manager review
Assisting with and completion of periodic and statutory accounts
Completion of accounts/audit preparation programmes
Completion of money laundering documentation
Ensure correct disclosures in accordance with Companies Acts
Ensure work is carried out promptly and efficiently within budgets and deadlines
Quarterly or monthly bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT return preparation from client individual documents or core records either at Firm’s offices or client’s premises.
Prepare Financial Reporting Review and Benchmarking reports
Identify possible improvements to client systems
Prioritise work – and identify work shortfall or overload periods
Contact at appropriate level with client’s staff
Assisting the Senior/Manager in the planning and completion of accounts and audit work
Basic business tax computations
Identify disallowable expenditure
Assist in the preparation of P11D’s
