- Lloyd recruitment services are working with a leading supplier in the local area who represent global manufacturers, as well as niche specialists. They are currently recruiting for Stock controller to join their friendly team.
Key responsibilities:
To monitor sales against their held stocks.
When Stocks become slow moving, or become aged, in conjunction with the sales departments, the SC will take personal action to contact customers and progress sales.
Where stocks have a short shelf life or are reaching their shelf life expiry date, the SC in conjunction with the Sales department, will take personal action to contact customers and progress sales.
Regular duties:
Generate twice-monthly the aged stock reports and circulate to Product Managers
Generate twice-monthly reports listing 'Q' status and 'R' status stock
Generate twice-monthly reports on expired stock and stock due to expire
‘Q’ status and expiring stock – Liaise with Inside Sales Mangers and Finance
Review / ensure stock descriptions are correct on the system
Assist in the agreed stock parameters being correctly recorded on the system including safety stock, Demand Forecasts, EOQ, Lead-times and Technical quality etc
Consider system enhancements to improve stock management and data analysis
Ensure regular rolling stock takes are held and variances investigated for Quantity and LOT Managers
Investigate any variances between physical and system stock
Ensure consignment stock records kept up to date
Liaise with Finance on the system entering misc. Issues and Receipts etc.
Ensure shipments / transfers / receipts are correctly recorded by Speke
Stock KPI's
Prepare ‘F’ forms for stock to be written off / disposed of
Expiring stock - look at the stock FEFO system and ensure stock is correctly picked according to age
Stock takes of customer’s consignment stocks
Identifying our stock at customer’s in receivership pursuing our Retention of Title
Salary between £22K-£25K depending on experience
Working hours: Monday -Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm
