- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a reputable manufacturing company who supplies parts worldwide for their expanding customer base.
They are located in the East Grinstead area and are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their friendly and expanding team.
Main overall objective:
To work well within a team and to complete all general warehouse and trade counter duties that may be required.
Key tasks/responsibilities:
To keep on top of stock levels and report any shortages to the relevant Manager
To receive and identify stock and check goods from suppliers
Ability to correctly locate warehouse goods efficiently
To complete all paperwork correctly and promptly
Once locating the ordered parts from the warehouse, ensuring the correct items are packed ready to be dispatched worldwide
To book in the shipments for a courier collection and ensuring all timescales are met
Delivering excellent customer service at all times whilst on the trade counter
To work well as part of a team and individually
To maintain a clean and tidy working environment
All general warehouse duties
To maintain quality to a standard expected by the company
To ensure that all procedures are adhered to
To be able to take additional responsibilities when the need arises
Going above and beyond for the customer's needs
Skills required:
Essential:
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Computer literate
Excellent customer service
Desire to progress within the company
Desirable but not essential:
Skills gained in a similar role (warehouse/ parts manufacturer/trade counter)
Grade C or above GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
Forklift Licence
Driving Licence
Working Hours: 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £20,000-£22,000 DOE
