Description
Lloyd Recruitment Services are looking for an Office Administrator to work for an ever-expanding construction company in the local area. They are looking for someone who is a self-starter with great people skills and willing to take on a variety of different tasks. 

 

Duties:

 



  • Answering the office telephones


  • Taking new enquiries for new projects and communicating this to the Managing Director and Development Manager


  • Organising the site teams – weekly rotas, collating weekly timesheets, chasing for missing receipts, business communications etc


  • Ordering materials from suppliers and updating the purchase order log


  • Reconciling invoices against purchase order log for authorisation by MD or DM


  • General admin – emails, filing, printing, setting up Health & Safety files for the site


  • Managing diaries


  • Assisting the DM with organising team events or shows the business attends


  • Assisting the DM with marketing


  • Assisting the DM with researching events and awards we would like to go for


  • Updating the holiday planner


  • The main point of contact in the office


  • Setting up the electronic filing system for new projects


  • Generally assisting the MD and DM with any duties they may need help with on a day to day basis


Role:

 



  • Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm


  • Office based; Edenbridge


  • May be required to drive to site on a rare occasion (mileage paid)


  • Opportunity for progression and more responsibility if wanted, should the right candidate want to stay as an administrator this is also acceptable


  • Salary - £15,000 - £20,000 per annum dependent on experience and candidate


 

Experience and skills required:

 



  • Office and admin experience necessary – 1 year plus


  • Ability to work well with others


  • Excellent telephone manner


  • Able to be flexible and work well under occasional pressure


  • Organised nature


  • Attention to detail


  • Experience in construction (not necessary however desirable)


  • Good written and oral communication


  • Driven / hard working individual


  • Ability to independently


  • UK clean drivers licence (not necessary however desirable)


 

Salary - £15,000 - £20,000 per annum DOE and candidate
