- Description
- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading organisation looking for a Parts Coordinator / Advisor to work alongside their fantastic team based in East Grinstead.
 
 The main purpose of this role is to sell and supply manufacturer parts to retail and trade customers and company service engineers.
 
 What’s in it for you?
 
 Salary between- £20K - £30K DOE
 Working Hours - 08:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday
 Standard holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
 
 Objectives and key tasks:
 
 
 Able to accurately identify customer’s order request via telephone/ emails through the companies database and catalogues
 To have a clear and polite telephone manner at all times
 To work well as part of a team to achieve group sales target
 Informing retail and trade customers at the earliest opportunity of any changes/delays of their orders
 To be able to order all customer parts order requirements via manufacturer computerised ordering systems
 To correctly locate items in the warehouse efficiently
 To conduct all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently
 Assist the dealership staff in parts identification and, if required, replacements
 Maintenance of workshops stock control
 To complete ad-hoc stock takes on specific locations in the parts department
 To receive and identify stock and check goods from suppliers
 Implementation of the discount structure as applicable
 Ensuring that stock is only issued in accordance with the policy regarding payment or -charge
 To inform the supervisor/manager of any stock discrepancies at all times
 To ensure you are always maintaining and complying with the companies regulations and consumer legislation
 Discounting sales correctly in accordance with company policy or customer agreement
 To attend manufacturer and Company training courses and familiarise with Office IT equipment and procedures
 To maintain a training plan working closely with the parts supervisor
 Other duties as required as authorised, i.e. parts delivery, warehouse duties
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills and qualifications:
 Essential:
 
 
 Excellent communication skills
 Good computer skills
 Full Driving License
 The ability to work efficiently with the public
 Able to convey information clearly & succinctly whether verbally or in writing
 Able to solve problems
 To establish effective working relationships with varied personnel
 Able to work independently demonstrating initiative and pro-activity
 To demonstrate sensitivity, diplomacy and tact

 Desirable:
 
 
 Previous experience working in parts driven role, supplying new/ used and reconditioned parts
 Previous sales / warehouse experience
 Grade C or above GCSE’s including Math’s and English
 Forklift Licence
