- Lloyd Recruitment Services, are delighted to be working with a recognised brand name, who are looking to recruit a Call Centre Team Operator / Switchboard Operator to strengthen their existing team based in Sandwich, Kent.
You’ll be working in a team of others, and be the first point of contact for all client queries over the phone, and continuing to provide the first class service expected of visitors / callers / colleagues.
The role:
Telephonists, or switchboard operators, are the first point of contact for callers to an organisation. They answer incoming calls, putting them through to the right person or department. They also take messages and connect some outgoing calls.
You’ll need to be professional, well-spoken and polite, able to work quickly and accurately, a clear telephone voice is definitely a requirement.
Duties will include:
• Answer and connect calls using a computerised switchboard system
• Take and pass on messages
• Work in a team
• On-the-job training, working alongside an experienced telephonist
The successful individuals will be:
• Professional and confident communicators
• Self -motivated and enthusiastic
• Quick thinking (able to think outside the box)
• Fully IT proficient
• The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
For the successful candidate an enhanced securities check will take place including a DBS (Criminal Check)
