- Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently working with a leading Media and Events company based in Croydon. There is currently a requirement for a Marketing Executive to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
The Marketing Executive will work across a portfolio of 11 brands.
The portfolios encompass a variety of activities that need marketing across the year, including awards and conferences.
The client is looking for someone to lead and implement the marketing strategy and all marketing/promotional campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Creation of email campaigns, including managing the data set and working with the email team
Write, implement and manage promotional copy for brochures, letters, leaflets, adverts, online and media packs to agreed deadlines/budgets and to measure effectiveness
Take ownership of the social media channels and regular postings
To assist in growing attendees, entries and table sales by maintaining close liaison with key companies
Reporting of Social Media and web traffic, entries and followers each month
To grow the current databases and identify new sources of data for future growth - investigate the viability of purchasing lists where appropriate
Weekly reporting of key stats and marketing campaigns
Be on site to help at every event
To design and analyse questionnaires and other similar material for research purposes and report back to the team, making suggestions for the future
Manage print estimates and expenditure of costs for marketing brochures, promotional letters/mailers, stand marketing collateral and other ad hoc materials
To ensure that all work undertaken is completed to a deadline and to the high standards expected and within budget
Assisting the Head of Marketing with brand ABC audits
To identify and keep up to date with the latest marketing ideas and trends, making recommendations
Competencies and Personal Specifications:
Event Marketing, digital marketing and social media experience
Exceptional copywriting and communication skills are vital
Experience using Google Analytics and Social Media analytic tools is highly desirable
Ability to prioritise workload accordingly and work on own initiative and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills are essential in this role
Experience managing ABC audits desirable
The ability to accurately interpret statistics and suggest ideas for improvement
The ability to work well to tight deadlines in a hands on environment
Ongoing in-depth analysis of results and regular attention to improving the team results and performance
Salary of £25K - £27K DOE – 12 month FTC
