- One of Lloyd Recruitment Services longest standing clients is seeking a new colleague to join their busy Finance team as a Funding Controller.
Purpose
To administer the funding aspects of the Finance department, ensuring that they are managed in an accurate and professional manner and to provide support to the Finance team.
The Role:
•To maintain & develop the Finance database
•To liaise between Auction Houses and Funders to obtain clearance
•To arrange funding on a quick turnaround, resolving any drawdown issues
•Obtaining credit facilities for corporate clients and monitoring credit lines, co-ordinate financing with various Finance Houses
•To liaise with Funders & internal customers
•To facilitate Funder audits
•Preparation of commissions and monthly drawdown report
•Develop & maintain a 'procedures and process’ document for the Funding function
•To provide support to all areas of the Finance department
The ideal Candidate:
•Extremely organised and methodical
•Great attention to detail
•Process driven - i.e. can devise a process and stick firmly to it
•Patient and calm under pressure
•Good telephone manner, able to build relationships with funders
•Reasonably proficient at excel - intermediate standard
•Able to demonstrate strong administrative skills
My client is linked to the motor vehicle / hire sector, so any exposure or experience gained from these areas would be a distinct advantage, however, full training will be provided.
