- Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be requested by our client (a well-established independently owned company) to help further strengthen their claims handling / negotiating teams.
We are now looking for 2 x Team Leaders to join them, with the ability to lead their respective teams forward, and continue to exceed the clients expectations.
Purpose:
Being a point of contact for a team of between 8-10 colleagues, you will help ensure that all Insurance claims are managed in an effective, timely and cost effective manner and lead your team by example.
Role:
To develop close business working relationships with all referrers, insurers and body-shops.
Ensure KPI targets and service standards are met and exceeded within the team and department
Prioritise and distribute work throughout the team and monitor to completion.
To make sure all HR policies, procedures and appraisals are maintained and adhered to.
To manage distribution of claims correspondence on a daily basis
To coach, develop and motivate staff by providing the skills and knowledge to perform their job, together with opportunities for skills expansion and career development.
To build an environment which supports the spirit of teamwork, where staff are committed, loyal and take pride working for the company
Review all case files to ensure that all relevant paperwork is present
The candidate:
Experience gained from the insurance sector would be an advantage - but applications from strong customer service/focused individuals, combined with team leader/supervisory experience will also be considered.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Competent level of ability in Word, Excel and in house IT packages
