Master Technician
Basic salary: £40-42,500
Working hours: 5 days / 40hrs weekdays Mon-Fri
Location: Tilbury, Essex
Working for one of the leading automotive manufacturers at their distribution site in Tilbury, you’ll be responsible for investigating customer concerns using the manufacturers specific diagnostic equipment and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all work is completed including preparing technical reports
- Report and get authorised any additional work or parts required prior to starting
- Complete necessary documentation in respect of any warranty work completed - labelling and safekeeping of all warranty displacement parts
- Ensure special tools and equipment are kept in good order, and any problems are immediately notified
- Ensure that technical reports are correctly prepared as measured by the Warranty and Operating Standards Audits
- Make sure all work is performed to the highest standard as measured by the Customer Satisfaction Reports
- To work as efficiently as possible as measured by the Monthly Dealer Composite Reports
Person Specification
- Preference given to technicians trained to Master Technician or equivalent level.
- IMI level 4
- Previous Franchised Dealer technical experience
- Full clean UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work in a clean and organised manner
- Willingness to work in a team
