Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading business based in Heathfield who are currently in search of a Logistics Planner (Transport Office) to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The Role:
You will be required to arrange the collection of all customer pallets and will be working with drivers to ensure they offer high levels of service to customers.
The responsibilities of the role:
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with customers and other depots
- Deal with customers queries and complaints effectively, ensuring that good customer service is maintained at all times
- Point of contact for telephone calls and emails, responding in a timely and professional manner
- Utilise online transport management systems in order to effectively reload vehicles ensuring unloaded journeys are minimised
- Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed
- Liaise with drivers and advise them of collections
- Data entry on excel
The requirements of the role:
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- Be able to work under pressure
- Desirable to have at least one years’ experience in the logistics industry
- Ideal experience of working in a collection’s role of in a transport office (would be ideal)
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially excel
- Good communication skills
- Excellent level of attention to detail
- High level of accuracy
